I was curious about how this cat could be so at ease for so long with a bird using its back and neck as a perch.
"How do you get all the animals to stay in place like that and get along?" I ask the man as he tends to his menagerie. "I trained them," he responds without elaborating. Donations go in the white "love" bucket.
Lots of people stop to examine this surreal scene.
Every day, the man sets up shop in a different spot around Manhattan.
It's refreshing to see such harmony among species that aren't typically friends.
